San Beda routs Arellano to claim fifth straight NCAA title (FULL GAME REPLAY VIDEO)

San Beda Red Lions' championship pedigree was on full display Wednesday afternoon, making quick work of the Arellano Chiefs, 89-70, to bag the NCAA Season 90 title at the Mall of Asia Arena.
San Beda simply did everything right to win its fifth straight title, eighth in nine trips to the finals.
Anthony Semerad greased the wheels of San Beda early, firing all but 14 of his total output in the first half. He finished a stellar game the way he started it, firing shot after another on his way to 30 points.

"It's my last game so I gave everything I got," said the PBA-bound Semerad, who was named Most Valuable Player.

The game was already decided before it even ended, with the Red Lions keeping the Chiefs at arm's length with their relentless offense from the get-go.

Arellano looked nothing like the scrappy team that had beaten San Beda in the elimination round and become the league's favorites after booking its first trip to the finals since joining the league five years ago.
