2015 FIBA Asia Championship: The Gilas Pilipinas, Philippine national basketball team pulled off a sensational 87-73 victory over defending champion Iran in the second round of the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha, China on Monday.
Even with naturalized player Andray Blatche battling an ankle injury, Gilas Pilipinas went toe-to-toe against the towering Iranians and came out on top. A tremendous second-half effort led by Blatche, Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva and Terrence Romeo powered Gilas to victory.
