Ultimate Kalokalike 1st Grandwinner is Christopher de Leon’s impersonator
For his striking resemblance to actor Christopher de Leon, impersonator Jonathan Garcia was named as the Ultimate Kalokalike Saturday (June 1) in ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime’s” look-alike contest grand finals
Aside from bearing a close physical resemblance to the veteran actor for which he also won the special Picture Frame Award, Jonathan ultimately clinched the title after showing off his acting chops in the competition’s talent portion.

ABS-CBN Rejects Kris Aquino's Resignation From Her TV Shows
ABS-CBN released it's official statement regarding the resignation of Kris Aquino which she announced on National TV via TV Patrol.
According to the statement by the Head of ABS-CBN Integrated Corporate Communications Bong Osorio, Kris Aquino will have to stay to all of her shows including her primetime soap "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw' and in 'Pilipinas Got Talent' which will end in June.

ABS-CBN Executives Received Higher Compensation Than GMA-7 Execs
They may dispute each other's rankings, but when it comes to
executive compensation, ABS-CBN is definitely way, way ahead of
competing GMA Network.
ABS-CBN reported Thursday that it paid chief executive and child of owner Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III and its four highest officers nearly P233.4 million last year, which works out to an average of P46.6 million each.
Lopez's charmed circle includes President Ma. Rosario Santos-Concio, Roldeo Theodore Endrinal, Rolando Valdueza and Ma. Socorro Vidanes.
In contrast, GMA chairman and chief executive Felipe Gozon paid
himself and his co-owner, president Gilberto Duavit Jr. as well as
Felipe Yalong, Marissa Flores and Wilma Galvante a little over P134
million, or about P23.36 million each.
The combined compensation still includes the last paycheck of broadcaster Miguel Enriquez, who retired from GMA in September 2011 as senior vice president for radio operations.

Push.com.ph, an ABS-CBN Entertainment News Site, announced through twitter that ABS-CBN will have a new noontime show. To be topbilled by Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Randy Santiago and John Estrada. Meanwhile, If John Estrada accepted the hosting job in Kapamilya Network. ibig sabihin ba nito aalis na siya sa Kapatid Network at isinuko na niya ang mga comedy shows niya sa Singko? or TV5 allowed him to do the hosting job in the Kapamilya Network basta hindi siya mawawala sa mga shows nito sa singko?
Anyway, Push.com.ph didn't reveal the name of the new noontime show yet. Are you excited?

3 Kapamilya Stars that will transfer to TV5: Sarah Geronimo, Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin?
Usap-usapan in every corner of the showbiz industry that 3 Kapamilya Stars of ABS-CBN will be transferred soon to the TV5. The Three Kapamilya Stars are Sarah Geronimo, Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin.
ON SARAH GERONIMO.
The rumor started when Willie Revillame announced on his show, "Willing-willie", that Pop Superstar Sarah Geronimo will be the host of the "born to be a star", a future show of TV5. But sinasabi ng iba na hindi makakalipat si Sarah G. because she is under contract for ABS-CBN for 2 years pa. But sinasabi naman ng iba na makakalipat siya at babayaran na lang ng TV5 ang existing contract niya with ABS-CBN.
Kung lilipat nga si Sarah Geronimo sa TV5 well we will know someday. But I have speculation on why she will transfer. (1)Dahil siya ang sinisisi kung bakit flop ang kakatapos niyang show na "IDOL" (2)Dahil mas malaki ang offer ng TV5? at (3) dahil gusto niyang maka-iwas kay...guess who?... Rayver Cruz.

ABS-CBN's Christmas Station ID 2010: "Ngayong pasko, magniningning ang bawat Pilipino"
Kapamilya Network is known for doing heart-warming station IDs every Christmas. Last year, they made the "Bro,ikaw ang star ng pasko" which been a very successful station ID. You can hear that song played in every streets, shops and malls across the country. And yesterday (November 4, 2010), ABS-CBN launched their Christmas Station ID for this year named "Ngayong Pasko, Magniningning ang Bawat Pilipino". I would say this station ID is good but not the best. I much prefer their last year Christmas Station ID.
Anyway, It is obviously that in this year station ID, Sarah Geronimo and Kris Aquino and Diether Ocampo are not included. And I dont know why. Maybe they are busy. BELOW IS THE ABS-CBN's STATION ID 2010.

Veterans Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez are back !: ABS-CBN's News Flagship "TV Patrol" threatened to "Willing Willie" ?
ABS-CBN's news flagship "TV Patrol" will undergo MAJOR REFORMAT beginning November 8, 2010 (monday). Major reformat means their will be changes in their News Anchor. Kicking Karen Davila and Julius Babao in the evening news program "Bandila" and they will replaced by the ex-Vice President Noli de Castro and the wife of Senator Mar Roxas, Korina Sanchez herself and also Ted Failon.
Their is many speculation about this comeback of Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez to "TV Patrol"

"Willing Willie" Pilot Episode: Willie is Back with his cheap show yet its entertaining.
Former Wowowee Host Willie Revillame is back in the game. His new variety show on TV5 is definitely the cheap version of "Wowowee" in ABS-CBN but... even it look cheap because of its soundsystem and borrowed songs from "Wowowee" still the whole show is good and entertaining.And i think that is the most important part.
The games are enjoying and funny though I still miss the Hep! Hep! Hooray ! in "wowowee". :)
Anyway, As of this writing, the Quezon City Court junks Willie Revillame's appeal to dismiss the P486M Suit by Media titan ABS-CBN. The QC Court ordered Willie to post a bond of P427M not later than October 27, 2010.

IMORTAL FEVER IS ON ! As more Filipinos is now tuning on this vampire-werewolf series
These first team-up of Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida via "IMORTAL" is super succesful. As "Imortal" is being a big serious threat to GMA-7 Telebababad shows like "Grazilda". In it's pilot episode it became successful by dominating the primetime race, defeating the "Survivor" and "Grazilda" both in AGB Mega Manila and TNS/Kantar National. And now, in three weeks of airing, the viewer of this said series is getting bigger and bigger as it become the no. 1 Teleserye in National beating "Noah" and as it continue to defeat "Grazilda".
And starting on monday, October 25, 2010. as the unstrong and uncompetent "IDOL" ended last friday. Will these vampire-werewolf series become more successful with a new timeslot battling with "Illumina". Or on the opposite side it will not be successful because of the new teleserye airing before it's timeslot, the Remake of "Mara Clara".
All of these will be know, on Monday. So see you ! :)

After 7 weeks of airing...IDOL will end this week.
ABS-CBN's IDOL just launched a few months(September 6) ago yet it is nearing its end. and it's not been a surprise for me ! I watched the first episode of this series and i say.. its not welcoming...not entertaining... in short, it is BORING. i sorry for my words but that's is true..
I want to clarify that i criticizes the show and not the actors of the show.Well, don't worry i still love Sarah Geronimo and Sam Milby. :) I wish the next soap of Sarah will be a YOU CHANGE MY LIFE TV REMAKE or any soap that has similarity with his two blockbuster movies.
And i think, if that will be happened that will be an epic. What do you think ?

It seems everyone watched the pilot episode of the action-fantasy series, IMORTAL, of Angel Locsin who played as she-wolf and John Lloyd Cruz as a vampire last night. Imortal garnered 15.1% versus Grazilda 11.2% only in Mega Manila People Ratings of AGB Nielsen. Imortal also wins in nationwide posting 34.4% against Grazilda with 22.7% only. Does this Imortal power will fully wakes the dying primetimebida block of ABS-CBN ? we will found out soon.

ABS-CBN files P486-M counterclaim vs. Willie Revillame
The battle between media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation and former-Wowowee TV host-comedian Willie Revillame has come to the next level, When ABS-CBN Corporation files P486-M counterclaim versus Willie.
Since this issue burst out, I’m on the side of ABS-CBN because I’ve seen the way Willie pointing fingers to ABS-CBN Management; he points fingers like the management is takot sa kanya. I can say that na nalunod si Willie sa kasikatan at kayamanan. He always put in his mind na siya ang nagpapasok ng pinakamalaking pera sa Kapamilya Network.
At sa digmaang ito ng ABS-CBN at ni Willie ay may nakikisali;
1. yung walang integridad na kolumnista. Tamaan ka !

PHR Presents : KRISTINE -- The Super Hot Series !
Last Monday PHR presents "Kristine" began. It was a very-beautiful soap opera. The main characters in the soap like Cristine Reyes is seductive and sexy. And they can really act.
I can say that "Kristine" is the new "Pangako Sa'yo" of this decade. To refresh our minds, "Pangako Sa'yo" was a super Phenomenal hit Soap Opera a way back ago. starred by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales.

Lopez dropped the word 'broadcasting' to make it ABS-CBN Corporation
The country's largest media conglomerate is dropping the word "Broadcasting" in its corporate name, and will now be known as ABS-CBN Corporation.
Lopez said this is in recognition of how technology has changed the media landscape.
"The media business has gone beyond merely broadcasting to encompass other platforms," he noted.
ABS-CBN has interests in radio, free-to-air and cable television, movie production, publishing, and online news and content distribution service.
