Forbes Magazine Names 40 Richest Filipinos (2012 List)
Forbes Magazine has just released its 2012 list of the 40 Richest People
in the Philippines. SM tycoon Henry Sy retained his spot as the
country's richest person with an impressive net worth of $9.1 billion
.But the country’s biggest gainer was Enrique Razon Jr., who became a
billionaire just last year with $1.6 billion and is now the country’s
third-richest person, worth $3.6 billion. He made his first fortune in
ports, taking over the family business, International Container Terminal
Services, at 27. He turned ICTS into one of the largest port operators
in Asia, then expanded into Europe, North America and the Middle East.
There are three newcomers: Lucio and Susan Co, a husband-and-wife team
who join the ranks of billionaires thanks to last September’s IPO of
their hypermarket chain Puregold Price Club. Another debutant is
38-year-old civil engineer Michael Cosiquien, who took his building
company Megawide Construction public last year and saw its stock triple.
Two from 2011 missed this year’s $140 million cut off: Luis Virata of Nickel Asia and media tycoon Eugenio Lopez.
Here is the complete list of Forbes 40 richest people in the Philippines (2012):
WBO Review Panel: Pacquiao Won by Unanimous Decision vs Bradley
A World Boxing Organization review of the controversial championship bout between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley concludes that the Filipino boxing icon should have won the fight. The finding was unanimously arrived at by five international boxing experts tapped by the WBO to re-score the fight.
James Slater of Eastsideboxing.com reported on Thursday that “the five officials, from all over the world, sat down and viewed a video of the fight earlier this week. Not surprisingly, considering the fact that most fans and experts had Pacquiao winning big over the unbeaten Bradley, all 5 WBO judges re-scored the fight for PacMan – and they scored it big for Manny.”
The scores, all for Pacquiao:

Class Schedule of an Executive
Yey! Seen my class schedules already for this incoming school term. Only 4 school days for me. I have no classes every Fridays and Saturdays & of course, Sundays. Love it! :) Although, my Tuesday and Thursday schedule is a bit tiring and too hectic, from 9:30am to 7:30pm - I have no lunch break, nor merienda break...none at all. But I think I can survive those days because my International Cuisine class is on the same day and it happens that it is during lunch time. Saved by the bell there! ;)
My ‘original schedule’ has no Logic class but because I need to take that subject mainly because it is a first year subject and yet I’m already fourth year so it’s been almost 3 years na iniiwasan ko ang logic na yan. Kaya kinuha ko na! Para matapos na!
