Chris Banchero to not pursue D-League if he doesn't end up to Blackwater

HIGHLY-recruited guard Chris Banchero has yet to suit up in the PBA D-League, but he’s already made known where his loyalty lies.

Banchero said he’s bound to honor his contract with Blackwater and in the process, might forego his first-ever stint in the league in the Aspirant's Cup if he doesn't end up with the Elite.

UE questions the presence of banned Ateneo coach Perasol in venue

The UE Red Warriors are seeking clarification of the rules on suspensions after a possible violation surfaced that could result in Ateneo’s forfeiture of their 77-72 win last Sunday.


Ateneo coach Bo Perasol, who was out serving a one-game suspension for his encounter with a La Salle fan last week, was spotted inside the Mall of Asia Arena during the game, despite a UAAP rule stating that “the presence of a suspended coach, manager, assistant manager, statistician, scorers, masseurs, etc. and those listed as members of the team shall not be allowed in the bench or venue during the period of suspension.”
