Rich but Ugly or Good-looking but Poor ?


"If you were to choose one of the following two persons to be your lifetime partner, who would you pick: A person who is rich but ugly, or a person who is good-looking but poor?" Ayan ang tanong sa kakalipas na SWS (Social Weather Station) Survey. At in all fairness sa SWS. Ngayon lang ako natuwa sa mga ginawang survey nila. Haha!


The result of the survey shows that its the WOMEN who seem to value wealth than looks because 57% of them choose to have life partner who is Rich but ugly. And only 41% of them choose Good-looking but poor. 

MEN, on the other hand, seem to value beauty more. Because 52% of Men Respondents choose to have a life partner who is good-looking but poor. And only 46% of them choose to have a Rich but ugly life partner. 

Allan's Thoughts
If ever na itatanong sa akin yan. Frankly Speaking, I will choose Good-looking but poor. :) WHY?

1. Para paggising ko sa umaga. Talagang mapapasabi ako ng "GOOOD MOOORNING!! Pag nakita ko siya.

2. Iniisip ko lang ang kapakanan ng magiging anak ko. Paano kung magmana ang magiging anak ko sa nanay niyang hindi kagandahan? Kawawa naman siya diba? e, yung pera, I can work for that.

But...I think, at the end of the day, hindi naman mahalaga kung maganda/gwapo o mayaman/mahirap ang life partner natin. What matter most is mutual yung nararamdaman niyong dalawa na mahal mo siya at mahal ka niya. Right??

.How about you? what will you choose... RICH BUT UGLY? or GOOD-LOOKING BUT POOR?

    ahaha... tama. ako din, good looking but poor... kasi kung may itsura din naman ang tao, hindi halatang poor sila! ahaha...

    Good-looking but poor. Cliche as it may sound, pero hindi naman tau mabubuhay sa pera lang. Mas importante na nagmamahalan. Pero ok lng kung rich but ugly, may pera na kaming pang-belo or calayan if ever. Haha!

    medyo mahirap yung tanong.

    basta mahalaga ay nagmamahalan kayo. you'll see him/her beyond to his/her physicals.

    at kapag matanda na kayo, mas kailangan mo ang ugali niya, kung mahal ka talaga nya. :D

    ako goodlooking and poor kasi pwede naman siya yumaman eh with the right attitude and pwede gamitin ang looks to be successful

    at kung pangit pwede maging mahirap
