Former national team head coach Rajko Toroman is in talks with Barako Bull management after the Serbian secured his release from the San Miguel Corp. last week.
According to a report from the PBA's official website, Toroman met with officials from Barako Bull, although neither side revealed details.
"We will still discuss the final details and I want to finish off what I started with Petron at Barako," Toroman said.
"There is a difference between coaching and being a consultant. I am not a consultant. It's not my nature. I am really looking for an opportunity to coach, and there goes the offer (from Barako)," he added.
San Miguel on Saturday announced that they have released Toroman from his post as as consultant of the Petron Blaze Boosters upon his request.
"(Toroman said) he wants to explore other opportunities. Management approved Mr. Toroman's request and wishes him well in his future endeavors," San Miguel said in its statement.
