The Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws looked like they were on their way to their third consecutive defeat after going down by seven points, 77-84, with just over 20 seconds to go in overtime against the University of the East.
But the Tams, led by Terrence Romeo, never gave up, and they embarked on a remarkable 8-1 scoring run in the final 17 seconds of the first overtime to force another extra period.
Mike Tolomia drilled the game-tying triple with just three seconds to go, and the Tams would go on to win the game in the second OT, 98-94.
