FIBA Asia Championship 2013: DAY 4 Live Game Results

August 5, 2013. Fourth day of 27th FIBA Asia Championship 2013 being held at Manila, Philippines. Today is the start of the Second round of the tournament. Below are the DAY 4 live updates, live streams, game results, news and scores of today's games.

It was a tight contest between Qatar and Jordan, in the first half at least. Qatar then made it a lopsided match as it took over from the penultimate quarter towards the final buzzer and made easy work of Jordan, 75-61, and start the second round of the 2013 FIBA-Asia Championship.

Hayes led the Qatar scorers with 15 points, while Yasseen Musa and Daoud added 14 and 13 markers, respectively. Mohammad Hadrab made his presence felt with 16 points and four boards, while Wesam Al-Sous and Jimmy Baxter paced the Jordan team with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

IRAN vs INDIA (Group F) 
Two-time champion Iran continued to display dominant for in the FIBA Asia Championship, bludgeoning India, 102-58, to open its second round campaign. 

Shooting guard Hamed Afagh had a field day against the overmatched Indians, top-scoring with 16 points on four three-pointers for Iran. Super scorer Samad Nikkhah Bahrami and former NBA center Hamed Haddadi got their licks in as well, posting 15 and 12 points, respectively.

CHINESE TAIPEI vs HONG KONG (Group E)
Chinese Taipei remained perfect in the FIBA Asia Championship after an easy 94-55 triumph over Hong Kong in their second round showdown.

CHINA vs KAZAKHSTAN (Group F)
China defeated Kazakhstan 73-67.

MALAYSIA vs THAILAND (Playing for 13-15 Place)
Thailand defeated Malaysia 71-56.

Gilas Philippines defeated Japan 90-71, to open its second round campaign. [ read story here ]

KOREA vs BAHRAIN (Group F)
South Korea defeated Bahrain 96-51.
