UAAP 76 Standings: NU takes top seed; DLSU, FEU to battle for 2nd

De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers created a three-way logjam at the top of the UAAP standings via a 69-64 win over University of Ssto. Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers at the tournament’s penultimate match on Saturday.

UAAP 76 SCHOOL STANDINGS as of September 14, 2013:

La Salle is now tied with National University (NU) Bulldogs and Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws with 10-4 win-loss slates. 

The Bulldogs, however, take the top seeding in the Final Four due to superior quotient.

The Archers will now have to battle the Tamaraws for the second seeding and the twice-to-beat advantage.

Meanwhile, UST is now tied with defending champion Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles with 7-6 records.

They will do battle on Wednesday for the remaining Final Four seat.

HERE's THE UAAP 76 SCHOOL STANDINGS as of September 14, 2013:

1. NU Bulldogs 10-4*
2. De La Salle Green Archers 10-4
2. FEU Tamaraws 10-4 
4. Ateneo Blue Eagles 7-6
4. UST Growling Tigers 7-6
6. UE Red Warriors 6-7 - ELIMINATED
7. Adamson Soaring Falcons 4-10 - ELIMINATED
8. UP Fighting Maroons 0-13 - ELIMINATED

*NU is no.1 due to better quotient.
