FEU's Terrence Romeo receives UAAP 76 MVP award

Far Eastern University (FEU) guard Terrence Romeo received his UAAP Most Valuable Player (MVP) award during the special awarding ceremony shortly before Finals Game 2 between University of Sto. Tomas and De la Salle University (DLSU).
Romeo, who led the Tamaraws to a 10-4 record at the end of the elimination round, collected 75.2857 statistical points (SPs) over the course of the season.

He also averaged a league-leading 22.2 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists.

Romeo, who became the third guard in UAAP history to win the award, was handed a trophy and a Samsung Ativ Book 2 laptop.

The other two guards who won MVP honors were fellow Tamaraws RR Garcia and Jhonny Abarrientos.

Romeo was also named Season 76’s PS Bank Maaasahan Player of the Year and Jollibee Champ of the Season.

Meanwhile, Romeo also joined Roi Sumang of University of the East, Ray Parks of National University (NU), Jason Perkins of De la Salle University (DLSU) and Karim Abdul of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) in this year’s UAAP Mythical 5 Team.

Kyles Lao of the University of the Philippines (UP) was named Men’s Rookie of the Year, while Ferdinand “Thirdy” Ravena of Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) was named as the Juniors Most Valuable Player.

AVIDA “Hit it home” shoot winning school – Adamson University

RCBC Savings Bank Game Changing Player of the Season – Jeron Teng

APPETON Most Improved Player of the Season – Arnold Van Opstal
