Watch this old footage of Michael Jordan as he shattered the backboard with a powerful dunk during an exhibition game in Italy.
According to the San Francisco Globe, it happened back in the mid-1980s when "His Airness" played at a Nike-sponsored exhibition game in Trieste, Italy.
Jordan, acknowledged as the best basketball player ever, was in a Stefanel Trieste uniform when he leapt to the basket for a single-handed jam.
However, he hung a bit late on the rim, forcing the glass backboard to explode while the other players scampered to safety.
