COMELEC postpones proclamation of winning senators today
The Commission on Elections is postponing Wednesday's proclamation of winners in the May 2013 senatorial election due to delays in the canvassing of votes.
Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes said he has already informed the 2 top senatorial candidates in the partial count that "they will not be expecting any proclamation tonight."
Vice Ganda Airs Demands to Senator Nancy Binay
After publicly dissing UNA Senatorial candidate Nancy Binay (now one of the frontrunners in the senatorial race based on COMELEC's latest count), Vice Ganda,on Tuesday, congratulated Binay, and yes, demanded her to throw a blow-out.

PBA Finals Live Streaming: Barangay Ginebra vs Alaska
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel vs Alaska in the PBA Commissioner's Cup 2013 Finals. Two of the league's most popular teams, the Alaska Aces and Barangay Ginebra, clash in the Finals of the 2013 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Finals of Commissioner's Cup this year will be differ from last year. Instead of Best-of-Seven series, it will be Best-of-Five ball game. This is to give more time for the National team to prepare for the FIBA which will be held here in the Philippines on August.

New UAAP Rule to be implemented in Season 76
High school players transferring from one UAAP school to another for college need not undergo two years of residency if they are able to secure a release from their mother school, the league said in an official statement Monday, May 13.
According to UAAP president Nilo Ocampo, the board approved the explanatory rule to the residency requirement during its Annual Board Meeting last April 24.

LeBron James denies flopping accusations from Chicago Bulls
The suggestion that he's a flopper drew a grin as wide as his wingspan from LeBron James.
Miami's superstar shot down the accusations from the Chicago Bulls, saying they reminded him of the days when some claimed he was overrated and questioned his ability to lead a team to a championship.
"It's kind of the same (as when) I heard people say I was overrated," he said Sunday (Monday, Manila time). "It's kind of like the same response."
Calvin Abueva to Barangay Ginebra: "Hindi kami papatalo"
Alaska rookie Calvin Abueva believes he and the Alaska Aces are in for a tough title series, not just against Barangay Ginebra but also in terms of crowd support.
After witnessing how the Kings denied Talk 'N Text in a PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals series that went the distance, the 24-year-old Abueva said he feels Ginebra is just as hungry for a championship as Alaska.
