Cristiano Ronaldo tops world list of Most Valuable Tweeters, LeBron James came second
Lebron James may be the Most Valuable Tweeter in US sports, but the world No. 1 ranking belongs to football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Opendorse specializes in executing and monetizing digital and social media campaigns for athletes and had LeBron on top of its US list.
LeBron was listed with the highest value per tweet at US$140,000 ahead of Kevin Durant at $66,553, Kobe Bryant at $42,389, and Dwight Howard at $34,290.
But including the world’s biggest athletes, only James and Durant made the top 10.
ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell posted the list on twitter.
LeBron was second ahead of Brazil and Barcelona forward Neymar at $135,900, and striker Wayne Rooney of England and Manchester United at $81,690 in the list dominated by footballers.
Cristiano Ronaldo has 37.5 million followers on @Cristiano.
