PBA approves Petron-Air21 trade deal on Joseph Yeo, Mark Isip

The PBA has approved the one-on-one trade involving Yeo and forward Mark Isip on Thursday.

Yeo, who was not on the Petron Blaze bench in their game against the Tropang Texters, will be reunited with his old college coach Franz Pumaren at Air 21.

The six-foot guard from La Salle spent most of the season riding Petron bench despite being ready to play after recuperating from injury last season.

Air 21 team executive Lito Alvarez in an interview with InterAKTV earlier said they fast-tracked Yeo’s trade to join another new acquisition, Asi Taulava, for Friday’s game. The Express are currently at the bottom of the team standings with a 1-5 record, having lost their last four matches.

“With a few games left, anything is possible. Malaki maitutulong nila sa team namin,” said Alvarez.
