Gilas Pilipinas targets second straight win in Jones Cup, faces South Korea
The Gilas Pilipinas, Philippine national men’s basketball team, tries to get its second straight win in its campaign as it battles Asian rival South Korea in the 37th William Jones Cup Monday at the Xinchuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Gilas Pilipinas Final 12 to be named after Jones Cup
Gilas Pilipinas will be ready to name its Final 12 for the FIBA Asia Championship after its stint in the 2015 William Jones Cup International Basketball Tournament here.
After the Jones Cup, the Gilas pool will have gone through a month-long training with a total of 11 games played, including three in a pocket tournament in Estonia.

Gilas Pilipinas forced to practice under leaky roof ahead of game vs Jones Cup host Chinese Taipei
A day before Gilas Pilipinas opened their William Jones Cup campaign, assistant coach Josh Reyes took note of the environment the Philippine team practices in.
"So we practiced on this side gym with concrete flooring and leaky roof while the home team who we play tomorrow was in the main arena," said the son of former Gilas coach Chot Reyes via Instagram.

Gilas Pilipinas Complete Games Schedule in the 2015 William Jones Cup
Gilas Pilipinas will get to size up three Asian rivals, including FIBA Asia title holder Iran, in the 2015 William Jones Cup basketball tournament in Taipei on Aug. 29-Sept. 6. (Free Live Streaming of this event will be posted on ALLANISTHEMAN.com)
Team Phl will also be able to test its mettle against Japan and Chinese Taipei in the nine-team event also featuring club teams from Korea, Russia, New Zealand and the United States.
