Golden State Warriors tie NBA record with 15-0 start (VIDEO)
The Golden State Warriors are one of only two NBA teams in the modern era to begin a season 15-0 after beating the Denver Nuggets 118-105 on Sunday. Although the Nuggets stayed in the game through three quarters, Golden State turned the game into a blowout in the fourth.
The Warriors join the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and the 1948-49 Washington Capitols as the only teams to win their first 15 games and can set a new record on Tuesday with a home game against the Lakers. It's worth noting that the Rockets beat the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals that year.

After Gilas Pilipinas fell to China in the 2015 FIBA Asia Men's Championship gold medal match, Los Angeles Lakers' Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson quickly consoled Filipino basketball fans by voicing out his plan to suit up for the national team in 2016.
Clarkson posted on his Twitter account a video of himself going for a dunk with the caption: Tough Fight: In 2016, Jordan Clarkson and Gilas with the hashtags #AllIn #RoadToRedemption.

The Los Angeles Lakers remained firm on obliging Filipino-American guard Jordan Clarkson to return to the NBA team in the middle of his possible stint with the Philippine national men’s basketball team in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
The Lakers have already given the green light to Clarkson for his Gilas Pilipinas stint as long as he would be back in the United States on September 28, which is right at the smack of the Olympic qualifier.

The Los Angeles Lakers will release Filipino-American NBA player Jordan Clarkson to the Philippine national men’s basketball team for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship later this month.
However there’s one catch: the Lakers want Clarkson back before September 28, or right before their annual media day and training camp. That is right at the middle of the Olympic qualifier, meaning Gilas Pilipinas will only have him at the start of the tournament.

In his first statement since arriving in his mother's homeland on Monday, Clarkson made official his desire to play for 'flag and country' if he is given a clearance by the Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA and is declared eligible to play for the Philippines by world governing body Fiba.

LA Lakers ‘aware’ of Jordan Clarkson's interest of playing for Gilas Pilipinas
The Los Angeles Lakers have knowledge that their Filipino-American guard Jordan Clarkson is trying to make himself eligible for the Philippine national men’s basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas.
“We are aware that he is having discussions with the (Philippine) national team and other governing organizations,” John Black, Lakers’ Vice President of Public Relations, wrote to InterAksyon in an email.

Although fans are ecstatic over the possible addition of Jordan Clarkson to Gilas Pilipinas, a Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive clarified that the Filipino-American NBA player has to go through processes first before he can suit up for the national team.
SBP Executive Director Renauld "Sonny" Barrios tempered the expectations of local fans, even as he confirmed that Clarkson has a Philippine passport since the age of 12.

After his performance at the 2015 Adidas Global Nations camp (WATCH KOBE PARAS HIGHLIGHT VIDEOS HERE), Kobe Paras captured the eye of a NBA scouting website as one of the top wing prospects for high school classes 2016 and 2017.
Mike Schmitz, a video scout for Draft Express, included the 17-year-old Filipino cager as one of the standouts during the training camp.
