Talk 'N Text hires Courtney Fells to replace import Tony Mitchell
Scoring was never the problem for former Talk ‘N Text import Tony Mitchell.
But despite his prolific offensive output, the Tropang Texters have lost three straight games and are on the verge of elimination in the Governors’ Cup. Talk ‘N Text decided to replace Mitchell with former North Carolina State wingman Courtney Fells.

(Associated Press) -- LeBron James wanted his wedding day to be perfect and private. It appears he got both.
With guests dining on a five-course dinner, prefaced by plenty of appetizers and all done under incredibly tight security, the Miami Heat star married his longtime partner Savannah Brinson on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) night at a posh resort in San Diego.

Former NBA MVP and Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose is happy for what Gilas-Pilipinas has achieved in the FIBA-Asia Championship, but advised them that the hard part has yet to come.
In a press conference held at Marriott Hotel Monday afternoon, Rose told members of the media that the Philippine national team must come ready when they compete in the FIBA World Cup in Spain next year.

Ukraine are a step closer to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup after sealing a spot in the Quarter-Finals of EuroBasket 2013.
Mike Fratello's team, which put in a stirring performance to defeat Serbia on Friday, reached the last eight of the competition when Belgium upset Latvia, 60-56, in Sunday's first Group E game.

Serbia secured the top spot in Group E of EuroBasket 2013 after knocking off Tony Parker's France 77-65. Finishing behind Serbia were Lithuania second spot in the group, followed by France and Ukraine.
France took third place in the group by finishing at 3-2. Nicolas Batum, Nando De Colo, Alexis Ajinca and Boris Diaw all scored 12 points while Tony Parker had 10 points.
