Cristiano Ronaldo tops world list of Most Valuable Tweeters, LeBron James came second
Lebron James may be the Most Valuable Tweeter in US sports, but the world No. 1 ranking belongs to football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Real Madrid and Portugal striker’s tweet is valued at US$260,000, according to Opendorse.
Marc Pingris trade rumors started after rejoining Gilas Pilipinas team
STAR forward Marc Pingris admitted he is aware that trade speculations have started to swirl, shortly after he got the go-signal to rejoin the Gilas Pilipinas pool ahead of the FIBA Asia championship.
Pingris has long been an 'untouchable' in a Star team he helped lead to six PBA championships including a grand slam in 2014, but rumors have persisted that he's no longer on the 'protected list' since rejoining Gilas.
LA Lakers ‘aware’ of Jordan Clarkson's interest of playing for Gilas Pilipinas
The Los Angeles Lakers have knowledge that their Filipino-American guard Jordan Clarkson is trying to make himself eligible for the Philippine national men’s basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas.
“We are aware that he is having discussions with the (Philippine) national team and other governing organizations,” John Black, Lakers’ Vice President of Public Relations, wrote to InterAksyon in an email.

Although fans are ecstatic over the possible addition of Jordan Clarkson to Gilas Pilipinas, a Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive clarified that the Filipino-American NBA player has to go through processes first before he can suit up for the national team.
SBP Executive Director Renauld "Sonny" Barrios tempered the expectations of local fans, even as he confirmed that Clarkson has a Philippine passport since the age of 12.

New PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa approved a series of trades including the three-team, five-player trade that saw Rosario going to the Tropang Texters while sister team NLEX Road Warriors netting Kevin Alas.

Andray Blatche 'hopeful' for Jordan Clarkson inclusion to Gilas Pilipinas
Former NBA player and naturalized Filipino Andray Blatche looks forward to possibly teaming up with Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson who is currently taking steps for him to be eligible for Gilas Pilipinas.
“Hopefully, he can join,” Blatche said in an interview with News5′s Fraulein Olavario.
