Gilas Pilipinas will be ready to name its Final 12 for the FIBA Asia Championship after its stint in the 2015 William Jones Cup International Basketball Tournament here.

After the Jones Cup, the Gilas pool will have gone through a month-long training with a total of 11 games played, including three in a pocket tournament in Estonia.

Jordan Clarkson attended to his commitments as Smart endorser and spent a brief vacation in Boracay before flying to Taiwan. 

The NBA sophomore player will be watching the Gilas-Chinese Taipei game from the sidelines in his attempt to familiarize himself with the national team's plays.

The 2015 William Jones Cup, a top-level international basketball tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament will be held in Taiwan from 29 August–6 September 2015. On Tuesday, the 6-foot-6 Rosario, originally selected by Mahindra (formerly KIA) as the no. 2 overall draft pick, was shipped to Talk ‘N Text as part of the three-team, five-player deal.

Filipino-American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Brandon "The Truth" Vera will battle Chi Lewis "Chopper" Parry for the inaugural ONE Championship heavyweight title at the Mall of Asia Arena on December 11, the organization announced.

The unbeaten Parry, a British kickboxer, challenged Vera to the titular showdown after both fighters recently recorded first-round knockout wins.
