UFC 164: Benson Henderson vs Anthony Pettis Full Fight Replay Video
Anthony "Showtime" Pettis submitted Benson "Smooth" Henderson in the main event of UFC 164 in Milwaukee to become the new light-heavyweight champion.
Henderson was able to control the first half of the opening round through his work in the clinch, although Pettis eventually scored with some kicks. Henderson again scored with a takedown late in the round, but it was the beginning of the end for him as Pettis was able to lock in an armbar while on his back.
Pettis kept the armbar locked even as Henderson tried his best to escape, and "Smooth" eventually tapped out verbally at the 4:31 mark of the very first quarter. Aside from the belt, Pettis also got a $50,000 bonus for getting the "Submission of the Night."
