It's Showtime: ABS-CBN's Newest Noontime Show
The country's trending talent show, ‘Showtime’, bid goodbye today, Saturday, January 28, 2012. The Hosts like Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jugs, Teddy, Karylle, Billy Crawford, Kuya Kim and Vice Ganda thanked madlang pipol for the the love, laughter and the support that they've given to the show.
Anne on the last gap of the 'last episode' of Showtime today said:
"Dear Lord God, we just wanna thank you for this journey. We thank you, Lord, for Showtime. We thank you for all the challenges, the triumphs, the laughter."
"This is a decision and it's not something na we planned, it's something that came naturally between all of us,"
It's More Fun In Showtime.
Just like what cliché goes ‘Some good things never last’ and so with Showtime. So, for the regular viewers of the show, don't be sad na. (smile na!) because your favorite show will be back BIG on TV on February 6, 2012 but this time, with a new segments and games.
It will not be anymore a talent show it will evolved into a noontime variety show. And also, to really show that Showtime will evolved bigtime, it will have a new name. and its... It's Showtime.
It will replace the ABS-CBN’s current noontime show ‘Happy Yipee Yehey’ which will bid farewell on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Versus Eat Bulaga.
On its comeback, It's Showtime will be battling with country's no.1 and longest running noontime show 'Eat Bulaga'. Will It's Showtime will give a good fight and will defeat Eat Bulaga? or it will have the same fate just like what happened to the defunct noontime show "Pilipinas,Win Na Win' and 'Happy Yipee Yehey'?

After two years of being a morning kapamilya favorite, “It’s Showtime” will be ABS-CBN’s newest noontime program effective Monday, February 6, 2012.
The new show will be hosted by Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta andVice Ganda, whose camaraderie, spontaneity, talents, and shared sense of humor have brought joy to kapamilyas. Joining them in “It’s Showtime” are dance master Jhong Hilario, and favorite “ex hurados” Ryan Bang, andColeen Garcia.
Together, they will be bringing a new and more exciting show filled with surprises and engaging segments that will make viewers experience MORE FUN IN SHOWTIME.
ABS-CBN thanks the “madlang people, ” here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for being with Showtime and its hosts in their journey of bringing joy and hope every morning the past two years. ABS-CBN invites the viewers to continue their unwavering support for Showtime as it moves to noontime, from Monday to Saturday starting February 6.
