ALLAN THE MAN

The UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) opened its Season 75 with a theme of “Unbreakable 75” at the newly-built state-of-the-art Mall of Asia Arena yesterday, July 14, 2012 Saturday. This season’s host is the National University.

 The opening games are between National University (NU) Bulldogs vs. the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors and University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers vs. Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws. 

 NU Bulldogs was the one who’s controlling the game between UE Red Warriors. They defeated UE with a very wide margin, 90-55.

Meanwhile in the 2nd game, The Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws was hailed victorious after they defeated the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers 73-72.


UST was ahead 31.6 seconds left in the final quarter, but FEU was able to steal the ball and passed it to RR Garcia, who made the winning shot and bring his team on top by a single point ‘til the final buzzer.

Basketball games today, July 15, 2012 Sunday, are between De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers vs. University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons and Adamson University (ADU) Soaring Falcons vs. Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles.

Games will start at 2pm and 4pm respectively at Mall Of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
