To The Tune of Gwiyomi Song
After Gangnam Style and Harlem Shake, a new internet viral video has caught the attention of Filipino netizens. The new internet viral video is called Gwiyomi / Kiyomi and it features South Korean indie musician Hari.
The Gwiyomi song or Kiyomi Song is a Kpop single released on February 18, 2013. It went viral when Jung ll Hoon of Kpop group BTOB uploaded a separate version of the Gwiyomi Song on the video-sharing platform Youtube.
Now, the Gwiyomi song is gaining popularity on Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, China, Japan, Taiwan and Philippines.
In the Philippines, TV host/ Comedian Vice Ganda introduced the Gwiyomi Song when he performed the dance craze in the variety show "Its Showtime".
