Gilas Pilipinas celebration featured in FIBA World Cup teaser Ad (VIDEO)
Gilas Pilipinas members were featured in a teaser video of the 2014 FIBA World Cup showing basketball moves of teams who qualified for the prestigious basketball tournament.
Larry Fonacier and Jimmy Alapag appear in the second installment of the "10 Seconds of Basketball" series of videos released ahead of the tournament's tipoff on August 30.
The video featured footage from Gilas' rousing silver medal run in the FIBA Asia Championship in the Philippines last year.
Fonacier, who was replaced by Paul Lee in the roster due to injuries, was shown kneeling and raising his arms in celebration. Gilas team captain Alapag, meanwhile, was shown waving a red towel and cheering passionately true to the Gilas motto "puso." — Marisse Panaligan/JST, GMA News
