NBA: James Harden fined for his 2 BIG flops (VIDEO)

Two weeks into the NBA season, Houston Rockets guard James Harden found himself in violation of the league's anti-flopping rule by being whistled for a second such violation.
The league fined Harden $5,000 on Monday for his second flopping violation of the young campaign, one called with four minutes to play in the final quarter of the Rockets' 107-94 home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

NBA Regular-Season Game to be held at MOA Arena ?

The NBA is coming to Manila this year, not to hold an exhibition game but no less than a regular season match.


Mall of Asia general manager Arnel Gonzales confirmed the news to Spin.ph on Thursday, saying the regular season game might feature the Indiana Pacers led by Danny Granger and the Houston Rockets of James Harden and Asian-American star Jeremy Lin.

Jeremy Lin, James Harden are winners in their NBA debut with Houston Rockets

DETROIT, Michigan – Asian American star Jeremy Lin was a winner in his NBA debut with the Houston Rockets, but it was fellow newcomer James Harden who lifted the squad in a 105-96 triumph on Wednesday at Detroit.


The Rockets obtained Harden Saturday in a deal with Oklahoma City and signed a five-year contract extension worth a reported $80 million with Houston only hours before he took the court with his new teammates.

Oklahoma City Thunder traded James Harden to Houston Rockets

Unable to work out an extension with James Harden, the Oklahoma City Thunder traded the Sixth Man of the Year to the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, breaking up the young core of the Western Conference champions.


The Thunder acquired guards Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks and a second-round pick in the surprising deal that was completed Saturday night. Oklahoma City also sent center Cole Aldrich, and forwards Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to Houston.
