Kobe Paras DUNKS Over 3 People (VIDEO). Kobe is back in Manila to train with the Philippine youth team for the FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship, and he didn't waste time showing that he's still got hops.
This past weekend, he went to visit his old mates at La Salle Greenhills, where he played high school varsity basketball, and performed this dunk over three former teammates posted on Instagram by his brother Andre

Kobe Paras receives offer from US NCAA Division I school UC Irvine

16-year-old Kobe Paras is still two years away from entering the college basketball scene but has already received an offer from US NCAA Division I school UC Irvine, according to a report.
California-based recruiting analyst Neal Nieves posted on his Twitter account that the university had expressed interest in Paras, the son of PBA legend Benjie Paras.

Kobe Paras committed to La Salle Green Archers not to UP Maroons

THE guessing game on where Kobe Paras will play his college hoops is over.

This after the 2013 World 3x3 slam dunk champion bared to that he has already committed to joining reigning UAAP champions De La Salle Green Archers when he goes to college two years from now.

After the Green Archers wrapped up Game Three of the Finals against University of Santo Tomas, Paras was spotted in the victory party with La Salle chief backer and business tycoon Danding Cojuangco.

Kobe Paras to miss FIBA U-17 World Championship

NATIONAL coach Jamike Jarin said on Saturday he plans to keep intact the Gilas youth team that finished second to China in the Fiba Asia Under-16 championships, leaving rising star Kobe Paras out of the loop ahead of the youngsters' stint in next year's world championships in Dubai.
Speaking just hours after the Gilas youngsters lost to China, 78-85, in the Under-16 final late Friday night, Jarin said he wants to reward the 12 players who played courageously and defied the odds in Tehran, Iran with a trip to the Under-17 world championships next year.

The Philippines posted a clean slate in Day One of the Fiba 3x3 U18 World Championship by beating three opponents on Thursday in Jakarta.

The team of Thirdy Ravena of Ateneo, Kobe Paras of La Salle Greenhills, Paolo Rivero of Ateneo, and Arvie Tolentino of San Beda defeated Chinese Taipei (13-5), Guatemala (18-9), and Andorra (15-11) to remain undefeated in Pool B.

Philippine team wins gold in FIBA Asia 3×3 Under-18 Championships

The Philippine team, a four-man squad composed of former national youth team stalwarts Arvin Tolentino and Prince Rivero as well as second-generation players Kobe Paras and Thirdy Ravena, clinched the gold medal in the FIBA Asia 3×3 Under-18 Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.


The Filipinos rattled off six straight wins, including a win over a much taller, unbeaten Chinese squad in the semifinals and a tight decision over India in the finals to win the championship.
