Qatar erased any notion of a Hong Kong upset, jumping out to an early lead before fashioning out an 87-64 victory to top Group B of the FIBA Asia Championship on Saturday.


The Gulf squad raced to a 32-14 first quarter lead to cruise to its second win of the tournament after squeaking past Japan last Friday. Former NBA first round pick Jarvis Hayes, who joined Qatar as a naturalized player prior to the tournament, sizzled with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting. He shot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc in 24 minutes of action.

FIBA Asia 2013: South Korea vs Malaysia Full Game Replay

Malaysia finished with its best result in the preliminary round of the FIBA Asia Championship, falling to South Korea by a mere 22 points, 80-58, on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.


The Malaysians were victims of extremely lopsided results in their first two outings against Iran and China, the winners of the last seven editions of the Asian tournament. Iran battered Malaysia, 115-25, on opening day before China did the same thing with a 113-22 scoreline.

UFC 163: Jose Aldo vs Chan Sung Jung Live Streaming

Jose Aldo will look to defend the UFC featherweight title, once again, at UFC 163. Challenging the champion will be Chan Sung Jung, who stepped in as a replacement for an injured Anthony Pettis.


Should he beat Jung on Saturday, Aldo would join Tito Ortiz, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Matt Hughes and Georges St-Pierre as the only fighters to earn five consecutive UFC title defenses. Aldo is already considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in MMA today, but being put on the same level as those names could earn him more recognition as one of the best competitors in history.
