Chot Reyes to announce Gilas Pilipinas 12-man lineup on Thursday

Chot Reyes hasn’t made up his mind on the final composition of the Gilas Pilipinas 12-man lineup.

With only 13 of them leaving with him for the 10-day training camp in New Zealand, Reyes is having a hard time choosing who to drop from the lineup to the reserved list.

It’s practically the same players, who went in Lithuania for a two-week training camp last month.

Gilas’ toughest team to beat is Chinese Taipei, not Jordan

Chinese Taipei figures to be a tough early test for the Philippine national men’s basketball team early in the FIBA Asia Championship, according to international basketball veteran Rajko Toroman.

According to the Serbian coach who currently serves as consultant to Barako Bull in the PBA, the Taiwanese have become more formidable following the inclusion of naturalized center Quincy Davis in the lineup.
