ON-THE-PLATE: Spicy Bicol Express
Here is another recipe that i cooked and want to share, though i know many Filipinos already know how to cook this. But still, want to share this.
This food is from the visayas region, the 2nd largest island on the philippines. This menu is popular by it's spicy taste and it's not obvious from the picture. Isn't it ?
Spicy Bicol Express could be prepare for pulutan or even main dish na talaga.
INGREDIENTS & PROCEDURES BELOW.
1/2 Pork
12 pcs. Green long Chillies
Half glass Coconut Powder
1 onion, minced
1 garlic, minced
cooking oil as needed
salt to taste
PROCEDURES:
1. In cooking pan with heat cooking oil, brown the pork
2. Put the pork in other bowl
3. In pan again, saute the minced onion and garlic.
4. Add the brown pork.
5. Add the coconut powder/milk
6. Simmer
7. Add the chillies
8. Simmer till the sauce thickens.
9. Prepare in a bowl with fresh green long chillies.
