JORDAN vs HONG KONG - Jordan victorious over Hong Kong 80-54.

Jordan kept its bid alive for a spot in the FIBA Asia Championship quarterfinals with an 80-54 victory over Hong Kong. Mohammad Hadrab paced Jordan with 21 points while Mahmoud Abdeen added 13 as they booked their first win in the second round of competition.

Jordan won despite a poor game from naturalized swingman Jimmy Baxter, who scored just two points in the contest on 1-of-6 shooting. Hong Kong, which lost for the fourth consecutive time in the tournament, saw only Shing Yee Fong score in double-digits.

IRAN vs BAHRAIN - Iran defeated Bahrain 75-56.

The Iranian national team put on another strong performance by breezing past Bahrain, 75-56. Up by only three points at the half, Iran came out with a 11-3 spurt to push their cushion to 10 points, 5:47 remaining in the third.

Bahrain's Ahmed Aman and Husain Altawash missed on jumpers in the following plays as the Iranians extended their lead to 19, 52-33, capped by a layup from Mahdi Kamrany. Bahrain simply had no answers to Iran's potent offense, trailing by 22 points heading into the final period.

CHINESE TAIPEI vs JAPAN - Chinese Taipei defeated Japan 79-76.

Veteran stars Tsen Wen-Ting and Lin Chih-Chieh scored key baskets to help Chinese Taipei escape a hard-fighting Japan squad, 79-76, in Group E action in the FIBA Asia Championship on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

With the win, the Taiwanese remained perfect in the tournament and kept alive its bid to top the group stages.

CHINA vs INDIA - China destroyed India 79-45.

Defending champion China barely broke a sweat to coast to an easy 79-45 victory over India on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The 15-time Asian titlists booked their second straight victory in the FIBA Asia Championship after a difficult first round that saw them uncharacteristically lose two matches.

THAILAND vs SAUDI ARABIA (Playing for 13-14 Place)
Suadi Arabia defeated Thailand.
