Floyd Mayweather apologizes for mocking Oscar de la Hoya (PHOTO)
Several times last week after Oscar De La Hoya announced in a statement that he had relapsed and had entered a rehab facility to treat an alcohol addiction, Floyd Mayweather Jr. made public statements supportive of De La Hoya and wished him well.
He even did so Saturday at the post-fight news conference after he routed Canelo Alvarez (I don't care what C.J. Ross thought) in their super welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand.

De La Hoya believes Canelo Alvarez will KO Floyd Mayweather
Former world champion and now Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya believes Mexican prodigy Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will not just beat Floyd Mayweather, but knock him out cold as well.
In an interview with Boxing Scene, De La Hoya expressed his confidence that the 22-year-old Alvarez can stop Mayweather, the premier defensive fighter of his generation.
