The Shorty Awards recently announced the finalists in its annual worldwide search for the best in social media where Globe Telecom is shortlisted to win one of the top awards. 

Globe Telecom emerged as finalist in the Best Use of Social Media for Customer Service Category for its @Talk2Globe customer service channel on Twitter. 

According to New York Times, if Hollywood has the Oscars and Broadway has the Tonys, then Twitter has the Shorty Awards. This prestigious event recognizes the best people and organizations in producing real-time content on channels like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Youtube, and Foursquare along with other social networking sites.
