UST stuns La Salle in UAAP 76 Finals Game 1 (REPLAY VIDEO)
The UST Growling Tigers outlasted the DLSU Green Archers 73-72 in Game 1 of the best-of-three UAAP Finals.
UST raced off to a 21-4 jackrabbit start, but La Salle caught up in the second quarter and took the lead, 40-38, at the start of the third.
UST, however, would retake the lead in the final quarter. UST forward Kevin Ferrer hit a key three-pointer in the final minute to give the Tigers a four-point lead.
La Salle would cut the lead to one on a three-point play by Jeron Teng. But the Green Archers would miss on their last two attempts that could have won them the game.

UST 73 - Ferrer 20, Abdul 19, Teng 17, Sheriff 6, Daquioag 4, Bautista 3, Mariano 2, Lao 2, Pe 0, Lo 0.
DLSU 72 - Vosotros 20, Teng 15, Van Opstal 13, Perkins 11, T. Torres 7, Revilla 4, N. Torres 2, Tampus 0, Reyes 0, Montalbo 0, De La Paz 0.
