Goran Dragic scored 18 points to lead host Slovenia to a 78-69 upset victory over defending champion Spain on Thursday night in the European basketball championship.

FIBA EuroBasket 2013 Free Live Streaming

The FIBA EuroBasket 2013 will be the 38th edition of the EuroBasket championship that is organized by FIBA Europe. It will take place from 4 September until 22 September 2013 in Slovenia. The number of participating teams will be 24.


TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 
In the first stage every team has to play against every other team of their group (round-robin). This means five matches per team.

From every group the 3 best teams advance to the second stage and the 3 worst teams will be eliminated. In the second stage 2 new groups will be formed. The 3 best teams from groups A and B will be united to form group E whereas the 3 best teams from groups C and D will be united to form group F.

GROUP A - Ukraine, Great Britain, France, Germany, Israel, Belgium
GROUP B - Bosnia & Herzegovina, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Latvia
GROUP C - Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia
GROUP D - Finland, Greece, Russia, Italy, Sweden, Turkey
