"And I Am Telling You" - Jessica Sanchez on American Idol 11 Top 4 Show

And I Am Telling You - Jessica Sanchez

Finally! Jessica Sanchez received again a standing ovation from the Idol judges with her rendition of Jennifer Holliday song, "And I Am Telling You" on American Idol Top 4 Show. A great song choice for Jessica!

Her second song is "Steal Away' by Etta James. She didn't received a standing ovation for this one but judges think that she nailed it and obviously she has ridiculous vocals.

My Prediction.
I think Jessica will be safe for tomorrow elimination. Although 'wag tayong magpakasiguro. Vote For Her HERE. For me, It's either Hollie Cavanagh or Phillip Phillips are to be voted off tomorrow. You Agree?

Jessica Sanchez sings "Proud Mary" on American Idol Top 5 Show

Jessica Sanchez - Proud Mary

Filipina-Mexican-American Jessica Sanchez sang “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker and “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner on the American Idol 11 Top 5 Performance Show.

I prefer Jessica's "Proud Mary" performance than her "You Are So Beautiful" rendition. Because on that performance she shows that she is not just a singer...that she can groove 'cause she is a total performer. #kudos!

And I totally agree when Jennifer Lopez said to her that she's a little bit of Tina and a little bit of Beyonce.

The PBB Dreams

Just a few days ago, another edition of Pinoy Big Brother Teen has been started. They presented a new batch of teen housemates who will live for a couple of months in the most-popular house in the country. So, without further ado, Here's an interesting story of a teacher and her 'PBB hopeful' students

By Jocy L. So-Yeung
(Teacher at Davao Christian High School)
Sun Star Davao. January 28, 2012.

HAS there been an epidemic? One day, all of the sudden, nearly a dozen students from the third year batch were absent. What happened?

The classmates grinned in response. "Nag-audition for PBB Ma'am." PBB of course is Pinoy Big Brother, the monster reality TV hit that places ordinary people in one residence, forces them to undergo unrealistic stunts, and allows the whole Philippines to watch their every move. I don't follow PBB but I know many who hound each episode like a starving dog chasing a bone.

And based on their stories, I was apprehensive upon knowing plenty of my students wanted to be in the show. A former student had already appeared on the show once, and she ended up being betrayed by a friend and looking mean and petty on TV. She was voted off, leaving the PBB house in an air of unpopularity.

Rabid watchers also tell me that the show's God-like kuya make housemates do uncomfortable things, from dancing with not a stitch of clothing on except a fan to downing liquor until they're drunk, just to stir up controversies and improve ratings.

Jessica Sanchez Nailed It Again: Performed "I Will Always Love You"

Filipino -Mexican Jessica Sanchez nailed it again. She received another standing ovation from the judges of American Idol with her rendition of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

I drastically love the way Jessica performed. J

What's Not Good About "It's Showtime"

The New Studio.
Pero, enough na ba ang mga changes na yun? my answer will be a BIG NO.

Games & Segments.
Maganda yung game hosted by Kuya Kim na Rock Clock. Samantala, yung ibang games/segments like Sine Mo 'To, Singing V, Pitik Bulag are all lame. While the Pitik Bulag naman ay corny at OA. With all these games I could say that "It's Showtime" is far far far behind 'Eat Bulaga'.

Talent Show.
