ABS-CBN's news flagship "TV Patrol" will undergo MAJOR REFORMAT beginning November 8, 2010 (monday). Major reformat means their will be changes in their News Anchor. Kicking Karen Davila and Julius Babao in the evening news program "Bandila" and they will replaced by the ex-Vice President Noli de Castro and the wife of Senator Mar Roxas, Korina Sanchez herself and also Ted Failon.

Their is many speculation about this comeback of Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez to "TV Patrol"

1. ABS-CBN especially "TV Patrol" is threatened to the new show of Former-Kapamilya Willie Revillame's "Willing Willie". Because Willie's show continues to eat a significant share in the viewer's pie resulting for "TV Patrol" ratings to decrease. As well as the ratings of "24 Oras" decreases though its still to managed to ranked no. 1 in its timeslot. In Fact last friday (October 29), "Willing Willie" got 8% ratings versus to "TV Patrol" who got 9% according to AGB Mega Manila People's Ratings.

2. The end-of-contract of ABS-CBN News Head Maria Ressa and be replaced by Veteran Newscaster Ging Reyes, whom is a good friend of Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez.

For whatever reasons it is. I think it is a good move for ABS-CBN Network dahil lugmok na lugmok na ang News Department nila as i've seen. They need a major major reformat not only in "TV Patrol" but in all of their news program.
