If Roger Federer defeats Murray and wins the 2012 Wimbledon Gentlemen's Singles title on today's game. He will be put in the No.1 ranking spot in the Tennis world, dethroning the current World's No.1 Novak Djokovic.
Federer's victory would also allow him to tie to Pete Sampras' record of 286 weeks as the No.1 player in the world and the most Wimbledon titles won by a single player.
But if Andy Murray wins this 2012 Wimbledon Men's Singles title, he will set a new record. He will become the first home winner of the men's single's title at Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936.
