Petron to trade Joseph Yeo to Air21 in exchange of Mark Isip
A long overdue trade between the Petron Blaze Boosters and the Air21 Express might be consummated in the next few days.
Sources told that the latest player swap will finally involve Joseph Yeo, who has long been a topic of trade reports.
The agile off-guard will be dealt to the Express in exchange for hardworking big man Mark Isip.
If agreed upon by both teams, the trade will be a rehashed version of the initially reported Yeo for Nelbert Omolon deal, which was called off along with the Kerby Raymundo trade after it was leaked to the media.
“Dinelay lang ng kaunti yang trade na yan. Kasi nagalit si boss bakit daw lumalabas sa media. Tapos ayun nga nabago ng bahagya,” said one informant, who spoke in the condition of anonymity.
Another source informed Solar Sports Desk that Yeo might already be released by Petron to join Air21 practices starting Wednesday afternoon.
