UAAP 76 Standings: NU, FEU tied at no.1; Ateneo down to No.5

UAAP SEASON 76 SCHOOL STANDINGS: National University (NU) and Far Eastern University (FEU) are now locked in a tie at the top the UAAP men’s basketball standings as the second round eliminations phase nears its end.


The Tamaraws defeated the hapless Maroons, 87-69, in the first game to get close to securing a twice-to-beat edge in the Final 4. (Watch FEU vs UP Full Game Replay Video)



The second game saw the Bulldogs winning over the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 70-65. (watch NU vs Ateneo Ful Game Replay Video)

FEU and NU now sport similar 10-4 slates ahead of De La Salle University (9-4).

The Bulldogs, however, gained one of the two twice-to-beat bonuses by virtue of their higher quotient.

The second round of the UAP men’s eliminations continues on Saturday when Adamson collides against University of the East at 2 p.m., followed by the 4 p.m. encounter between University of Sto. Tomas and La Salle.
