Manny Pangilinan elected to FIBA Central Board
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) President Manny Pangilinan was elected to the FIBA Central Board in a board meeting on Saturday.
The FIBA Central Board has the power to establish the internal regulations of FIBA, which is the world’s governing body in basketball.
Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes confirmed Pangilinan’s election to the board through a Twitter post.
The FIBA central board is elected every 4 years and meets twice a year. Prior to this year’s election, the board was composed of 23 members.
