PBA: Barangay Ginebra vs Globalport (FULL GAME REPLAY VIDEO) - December 27, 2015
A YOUNG, audacious GlobalPort held its ground in overtime to pull off an 84-83 victory over Barangay Ginebra and book a spot in the semifinals of the PBA Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena. Stanley Pringle and Romeo, GlobalPort's one-two punch in the backcourt, combined for seven of the team's 10 points in the extra period when the Batang Pier barely held off another comeback by the Gin Kings to reach the semifinals for the first time in its three-year history.
The game, however, ended on a controversial note when Ginebra pleaded for a ball-hugging violation on Pringle in the final eight seconds and the game still very much up in the air (CHECK THE VIDEO ABOVE)

Pido Jarencio says GlobalPort to select Stanley Pringle as PBA Rookie Top Pick
GlobalPort won't look anywhere else as the Batang Pier will definitely lock up spitfire guard Stanley Pringle as the top pick in the 2014 PBA Rookie Draft, said coach Pido Jarencio.
"Yup, siya na yung first pick namin," Jarencio told Sports Desk Tuesday while watching the second batch of the PBA rookie hopefuls strut their wares during Day 2 of the Draft Combine.

Terrence Romeo drops 34 points to carry GlobalPort past Air 21
Rookie guard Terrence Romeo sizzled 34 points, including 6-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, to carry the GlobalPort Batang Pier to a 114-100 victory over the Air 21 Express on Saturday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
The reigning UAAP Most Valuable Player sparked the Batang Pier explosion in the second half, scoring 26 of GlobalPort’s 77 points after halftime.
“Sinusunod ko lang yung mga pinapagawa sa akin ng mga coaches,” said Romeo, who needed just 17 shots to reach his total.
