Gilas Pilipinas began their road to the Olympics anew with perfect attendance at their first practice on Monday night at Meralco Gym in Pasig City.
June Mar Fajardo, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Marc Pingris, Ian Sangalang, Troy Rosario, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Gabe Norwood, Marcio Lassiter, Jeff Chan, Ryan Reyes, Jayson Castro, Terrence Romeo, and LA Tenorio all arrived early for warm-ups.

Terrence Romeo, Moala Tautuaa shine late as Gilas defeats Japan in Jones Cup 2015 (VIDEO)
The Gilas Pilipinas, Philippine national basketball team leaned on the strong play of young stars Terrence Romeo and Moala Tautuaa to come away with a 75-60 victory over Japan on Wednesday, September 2, at the Xinchuang Gymnasium in Taipei.
With the win, Gilas improved to 3-1 in their Jones Cup campaign while the Japanese lost for the fourth time in as many games. While their opponents were playing after getting a day off on Wednesday, the Philippines were in action for the fourth straight time.

Gilas Pilipinas wins its first game; defeats Chinese Taipei A 77-69 (VIDEO)
One win down.Terrence Romeo and Calvin Abueva shone brightly as Gilas Pilipinas weathered a huge third quarter rally and outlasted the fiery home team Chinese Taipei A, 77-69, to open their 2015 William Jones Cup campaign at the Xin Zhuang Gymnasium in Taiwan.
Gilas rookie guard Romeo exploded for a game-high 18 points and 3 rebounds off the bench while Abueva once again served as spark plug during a crucial stretch of the fourth and finished with 15 markers on top of 5 boards, also off the bench.

Injured Ranidel De Ocampo, Terrence Romeo join Gilas Pilipinas in Estonia
Philippine national men’s basketball team mainstay Ranidel de Ocampo, whose hamstring injury has kept him from practicing with Gilas Pilipinas, will still be joining the squad’s trip to Europe after all.
Head coach Tab Baldwin disclosed this latest development to InterAksyon.com in a telephone interview after the team just wrapped up its last practice on Monday morning prior to leaving the country Monday night.

Terrence Romeo led Manila West enter FIBA 3X3 World Tour quarterfinals
Terrence Romeo led Manila West past Sau Paulo, 21-17, and secured the Filipinos’ place in the quarterfinals of the FIBA 3X3 World Tour Final on Saturday in Sendai, Japan.
The former FEU standout had 13 points for Manila West, which posted an early 5-0 lead against the Brazilians.

Terrence Romeo drops 34 points to carry GlobalPort past Air 21
Rookie guard Terrence Romeo sizzled 34 points, including 6-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, to carry the GlobalPort Batang Pier to a 114-100 victory over the Air 21 Express on Saturday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
The reigning UAAP Most Valuable Player sparked the Batang Pier explosion in the second half, scoring 26 of GlobalPort’s 77 points after halftime.

FEU star Terrence Romeo applies for 2013 PBA Rookie draft
Despite promising to return to the Tamaraws next season, Far Eastern University’s superstar guard Terrence Romeo has decided to turn professional instead, as he beat Friday’s deadline for this year’s Philippine Basketball Association rookie draft.
After FEU’s season ended when they were defeated by the De La Salle Green Archers in the Final Four, Romeo vowed to return to school next year to play in his final season for the Tamaraws and shot down the idea of turning pro.

De La Salle University superstar Jeron Teng admitted it was disgusting seeing the video replay of the prank FEU Tamaraws star guard Terrence Romeo pulled off on Wednesday afternoon.
A video now making the rounds of social networking sites showed Romeo sneaking up from behind Teng, wetting his hand with sweat from his neck and jersey, then rubbing it into Teng's hands as the Archers sophomore prepared to take free throws late in a 71-68 victory over the Tamaraws.

FEU's Terrence Romeo named UAAP 76 MVP; beats Bobby Ray Parks
Far Eastern University’s star guard Terrence Romeo is the Most Valuable Player of the UAAP Season 76 tournament, beating out National University forward Bobby Ray Parks for the league’s top individual award.
Romeo, who led the Tamaraws to a 10-4 record, collected 75.2857 statistical points (SPs) over the course of the season. He averaged a league-high of 22.2 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists.

Terrence Romeo set a new career-high with 33 points as the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws closed out their UAAP Season 76 elimination round campaign with a 87-69 rout of the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tamaraws, who swept the first round of the tournament, wrapped up the elimination round with a 10-4 record and are assured of at least a playoff for the twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 76 men's basketball tournament. (see the latest full rankings here)

Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes said they would invite collegiate stars Terrence Romeo, Kiefer Ravena, Bobby Ray Parks, Raymond Almazan, Kevin Ferrer, Chris Newsome and Arnold Van Opstal to join the Gilas Pilipinas cadet team.

FEU's Terrence Romeo to haters: Wala akong paki
FAR Eastern University top gun Terrence Romeo has brushed off criticism from haters who have been bashing the leading Most Valuable Player contender from the start of the UAAP season.
Romeo has been at the receiving end of accusations ranging from being too individualistic to deliberately losing a game by bashers who were at it again on Wednesday after the Tamaraws’ lopsided 92-73 loss to five-time defending champion Ateneo.

TWITTER WAR: National University’s (NU) 59-58 win over Far Eastern University not only put a dent on the Tamaraws’ record in UAAP 76, it also sparked a Twitter feud between FEU’s Terrence Romeo and former Ateneo player Nico Salva.
It all started when Nico Salva commented on Romeo’s performance against the Bulldogs.
“Romeo is back to his old self. Why dont u just give the ball to RR?” he tweeted.
