ALLAN THE MAN

As a HRM student, one of the subject that i'm really really looking forward is "Bar and Beverage Management" :) - because sa subject lang na 'to LEGAL ang pag-inom ng alcoholic beverages inside the school campus. Yup! dahil kailangan naming tikman ang bawat drinks. For as to know kung ano ang pinagkaka-iba ng lasa ng bawat drinks.

Last Saturday, Nagsimula na kaming mag-cocktail mixing. yeahh. The first we do is yung 40 International Mix. Pero 13 pa lang nagawa namin dahil kulang sa oras.

In all the 13 cocktail drinks, I have my own 4 favorites namely;

1. Martini - ang pinaka-common na cocktail drink. I like this one kasi masarap yung blend ng salt sa drink mismo. 

"OPHIUCHUS". I'm sure you've already heard that word or seen it on Twitter as this topic trends worldwide. Well for those na hindi pa alam ang tungkol sa word na yan. Ophiuchus , as they've said, is the new addition to the list of 12 zodiac signs. This sign is inserted between Scorpio and Sagittarius. So that makes me  a Libra from being a Scorpion. But...this NEW SIGN IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO THOSE WHO BORN THIS YEAR 2011. Meaning, hindi ako apektado ng pagkakadagdag ng bagong sign na ito neither you, yes you! So, I remain as a Scorpion.

Btw, What is Ophiuchus? Opihiuchus is also known as Serpentarius. It is a constellation commonly depicted in artwork as a man grasping the snake that is the constellation Serpens.

Astronomer Parke Kunkle explain this zodiac sign changes.

 “This is not something that happened today. This has gone on for thousands of years.

 The star doctors say Earth is currently in a different spot in relation to the Sun, and its equatorial alignment has changed from 3,000 years ago when the study of astrology began — back when 12 zodiac signs were assigned to 12 different periods of the year.

Those signs you were born into are different now because the Earth’s wobble on its axis has created a one-month bump in the alignment of the stars, according to Kunkle.

“Because of this change of tilt, the Earth is really over here in effect and Sun is in a different constellation than it was 3,000 years ago,”he added.

 But the question is " Is Ophiuchus the new 13th sign ?

According to dailyhoroscope. 

No. It’s just a constellation. Even the founding text for Astrology (Tetrabiblos by Claudius Ptolemy written 170 AD only mentions 12 signs.) A few astrologers who practice the controversial sidereal  (consellation-based) zodiac use it as the 13th zodiacal sign – and by a few we mean about 1 percent.

Astrology is based on the four seasons, not on constellations -- and the seasons don’t change. As Levine said above, there are four seasons, each with a beginning, middle and end, which adds up to 12 zodiac signs. There is no 13th astrological sign. Period.

May gusto lang akong i-share sa inyo about sa napanuod ko last sunday. Napanuod ko sa isang show na nag-dedebate ang mga guest sa isang tanong. The question goes like this... "Natututunan bang mahalin o ibigin ang isang tao?"

I should agree sa sinabi nang sumasang-ayon na love comes in 3A's- Attraction, Admiration and Affection. Ibig sabihin, kapag nakita mo isang tao ang nararamdaman pa lang natin is Attraction. Attracted tayo sa isang tao dahil sa kagandahan niya, kagisigan o kagwapuhan. And then, Kapag mas nakilala natin yung tao na yun- for example mabaet siya, magalang. So dun pumapasok ang Admiration. Until humantong sa Affection.

I strongly agree also sa audience na nagsabing "mas maganda kapag ang pagmamahalan ay natututunan kasi may development". Ibig sabihin  nag-grogrow.

Ang sabi naman ng kabilang panig, na nagsasabing hindi natutunan ang pagmamahal. Ang pagmamahal daw ay kusang nangyayare. Kapag nakita mo yung isang tao e, bigla daw titibok ang puso at booomm.. may pagmamahal na daw.

To end of this discussion, I must say that pwede nating matutunang mahalin ang isang tao at pwede ring hindi. Kumbaga it depends on the situation and also on the person. Dahil kung ayaw mo talaga sa isang tao, kahit na sabihin nating dead na dead yung taong yun sayo, at lahat ay ginagawa masuyo ka lang, e, wala siyang magagawa dahil ayaw mo sa kanya. Kumbaga, you're not attracted to her/him.

But i guess, may disadvantage ang pagsasabing hindi o sabihing biglang nararamdaman lang daw ang pagmamahal kapag nakita mo yung isang tao. The disadvantage e, pwedeng yung sinasabi mong in-love ka sa isang tao ay false alarm lang pala. Pwedeng na-cutean ka lang o nagandahan sa taong yun.

UPDATE: Facebook is not shutting down, it is not closing and you do not have to worry about saving all your information or losing all your online friends.

This is not true, it is just a rumor and Facebook will still be fine after March 15 2011. Not sure how this rumor got started....

 Above statement is given by the Facebook Team after someone spreads rumor that Facebook Site will end or shutdown on March 15th.

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

I don't know how to begin this post. Maybe, I greet you all first a Happy New Year! :) yeah, its 2011. I don't know what i'm feeling about 2011 basta i'm supeer looking forward to it. as in.

Btw, because i'm not posting anything this last few days. So, I think i will share story, my experiences or what happened to me this holiday season.

Okay, My family and I spent both the Noche Buena and Media Noche just here in our house. This is not the usual na Noche Buena and Media Noche kasi hindi kami umuwi sa Laguna or even in Tarlac. Kaya hindi siya bongga. Wala yung mga pinsan ko, walang banda, walang karaoke at walang pamasko(pera) kaya less ang happiness. Nitong Christmas, 11:30 pa lang kumakaen na kami. Then, mga 12:30 siguro tulog na kami. HAHA!! Tapos pag-gising sa umaga. Parang wala lang. Parang walang nangyare.

Nitong kakatapos namang New Year, Sa wakas nakayanan namin ang antok at gising kami mga 'til 1:30 am. I'm watching news in Bandila. And nainggit ako nung nag-countdown sa Eastwood City in QC. Grabe!! Bonggacious! Nasabe ko nga e, parang gusto kong i-try this next new year,2012.

Anyways, Today is 1.1.11. yup! one of my favorite number is 11. Kaya feeling ko suswertehin ako this 2011 even if hindi ako belong in the year of Metal Rabbit.Pero feeling ko talaga swerte ko this 2011. feeling ko lang naman ah. :)
