Timothy Bradley came into the ring on Saturday night in Las Vegas as the champion, but he was looking for one thing and one thing only—respect.

He should have no problem getting that now. Bradley outboxed and outworked Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez, winning a split-decision, and retaining his WBO Welterweight Championship.

ROUND 1: Fighters are measuring their jabs in the first minute of the fight. Marquez lands the first combination of the fight. The two clash heads but there's no damage. Marquez lands a nice left hook to end the round.

TV host Willie Revillame turned emotional Saturday during the live telecast of "Wowowillie," as curtains closed for the controversy-fraught noontime program after seven months on air.

Speaking with the live audience, Revillame recalled the different iterations of his variety shows -- the primetime offerings "Willing Willie" and "Wiltime Bigtime" -- which preceded this latest revamp as "Wowowillie."

Roger Federer has split from his American coach Paul Annacone with the struggling Swiss former world number saying on Saturday (Sunday, PHL time) that it was the best time to make a change.

"After a terrific 3-1/2 years working together, Paul and I have decided to move on to the next chapter in our professional lives," the 32-year-old Federer said on his website.

The announcement came two days after the world number seven was dumped out of the Shanghai Masters by France's Gael Monfils.

De La Salle University (DLSU) battled from 15 points down to carve out a thrilling 71-69 overtime victory against University of Sto. Tomas (UST) and clinch its first UAAP crown since 2007.
