'With Manny Pacquiao's plan, Brandon Rios won't last 5 rounds'

Manny Pacquiao’s training camp is going so well such that Michael Koncz is pretty confident of the Filipino’s dominance over Brandon Rios on November 24.

Pacquiao’s adviser said that if the fighting congressman does what he's told in the fight, then Rios won’t be able to last long in the ring.

"The fans are going to be in for a fight, for a treat. If Manny sticks to the game plan, I truly don't believe the fight is going to go more than four or five rounds,” said Koncz in Boxing Scene.

He added that the Filipino boxer is out to prove that he remains to be a dangerous fighter despite being knocked out by Mexico’s Juan Manuel Marquez last December.

“It's been one of the best camps I can remember. No tensions within, everyone dedicated to our jobs and working hard. Manny's in the best physical condition he can be in. His mindset is on showing the world he can still compete to the highest level," Koncz reported.

The Canadian said Pacquiao really wanted to visit the disaster-stricken region of Visayas where thousands are recovering from the effects of super typhoon Yolanda.

But since he has a big fight coming up, Pacquiao has agreed to send financial aid to the survivors.

Rios and his team are already in Macau, where the fight takes place 10 days from now.

The Mexican-American went through six round of heavy sparring against his partner, Erick de Leon.

According to another Boxing Scene report, Rios punished De Leon with heavy punches to the body.

"Rios was explosive today," said De Leon, a former US national champion. "Sooner or later in the ring, Pacquiao is going to have to engage. When that happens Rios is going to unload the way he did against me today."
