Mayweather 'Christmas card' mocks Pacman: 'Happy sleepy holidays'
FLOYD Mayweather Jr. is not giving love on Christmas.
In another one of his sick antics, the flamboyant American fighter — a day before Christmas — posted a collage of pictures on his Twitter account (@FloydMayweather), mocking Filipino rival Manny Pacquiao.
The meme, which Mayweather called his “Christmas card to the world”, made fun of the desire of the Filipino champion to set up the highly anticipated matchup between the two of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world.
The collage had four pictures, with the upper left corner a photo of the undefeated Mayweather signifying a call — with a wad of cash as his phone — to Pacquiao and offering the Filipino US$40 million to fight him.
But in the upper right photo, Pacquiao denied the offer, saying he wanted half of the purse in what can be recalled as a failed negotiation for a megabuck fight.
Then in the lower left part of the collage, a picture of Pacquiao getting knocked out by Mexican nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez is seen, before the Filipino icon is again pictured in the last part of the photos, praying for Mayweather to offer the same amount.
The collage has gone viral with over 20,000 retweets since it was posted early Tuesday (Manila time).
Pacquiao, who is coming off a methodical unanimous victory over Brandon Rios, is set for a ring return in April, with the opponent still unkown.
