Floyd Mayweather Jr. insists: No Manny Pacquiao rematch
Retired American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. completely shot down the possibility of a rematch with Filipino rival Manny Pacquiao, adding that the "Pacman" is simply using his name to draw interest in his future fight.
Mayweather defeated Pacquiao when they fought last May 2, in what was billed as the "Fight of the Century." Although it failed to live up to the considerable hype, the bout nevertheless became the richest in the history of the sport.

Fight promoters on Monday released the official trailer for the much-awaited showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas (May 3 Morning in The Philippines).
The match, almost five years in the making, is believed to become the richest fight in boxing history, with the bout between this generation’s best fighters expected to rake in no less than $400 million.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have reportedly agreed on terms for a May 2 fight that will likely end up as the richest fight in boxing history, according to a report by respected boxing reporter Gareth Davies in The Telegraph.
Pacquiao has “completed his contractual agreements,” according to a source cited from within Pacquiao’s camp, and is now waiting for Mayweather to sign off on his end and announce the fight.

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao recently signed a contract extension with Bob Arum’s Top Rank promotion that made an already unlikely fight with Floyd Mayweather even more improbable.
The undefeated Mayweather refuses to do business with Pacquiao as long as he is promoted by Arum, and the extension keeps the Filipino southpaw in the promoter’s fold until 2016, possibly until the end of his career.
“Maraming mga dahilan naman yun eh (He always has an excuse),” Pacquiao told reporters at the launch of “Safe Steps,” a disaster preparedness initiative headed by Prudence Foundation and National Geographic on Thursday at the Mariott Hotel Manila.

Floyd Mayweather says September 2015 will be his last fight
Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he will fight for the last time in September next year.
Mayweather told guests at a gala dinner in South Africa on Friday that he remembers his first fight when he was a kid in 1987, and that "September 2015 will be my last".
The unbeaten five-division world champion, considered by many the best boxer of his era, said after beating Canelo Alvarez in a dominating display last September that he had four fights and two years left in his career.
