PBA: John Ferriols and Raymond Almazan SCUFFLE VIDEO
Rain or Shine's Raymond Almazan and Meralco's John Ferriols very nearly engaged in a fight in the fourth quarter of their PBA Philippine Cup game Saturday in Davao City.
Almazan took exception to an elbow from the veteran Ferriols while the two were battling for rebounding position.
A fight was averted, however, as Almazan and Ferriols were held back by their teammates.
Rain or Shine handily won the game, 107-79, but it was an ill-tempered contest that saw RoS head coach Yeng Guiao get ejected in the second period.
