NU is back-to-back UAAP Cheerdance champs; UP, UST on Top 3 (VIDEOS)
The National University (NU) Pep Squad performed a difficult, Native American-themed routine flawlessly to win the UAAP Cheerdance Competition for the second consecutive season in front of a packed crowd at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.

The defending champions, performing last among the eight squads, showed that the best was indeed saved for last as they performed a complicated routine perfectly, to the delight of the NU fans who were hoping for their team to achieve a "bark-to-back."

UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2013 - All Schools Performance VIDEO
The National University Bulldogs Pep Squad won the UAAP Cheerdance Competition title on Sunday, wowing the judges with a flawless routine inspired by Aladdin for 696.5 points.
Boasting of an aggressive recruitment program, NU completed its climb to the top after making its first podium appearance last year, when its finished third. Two seasons ago, the Bulldogs Pep Squad finished sixth in the competition.

Terrence Romeo sets 33 points career-high. (FEU vs UP Replay Video)
Terrence Romeo set a new career-high with 33 points as the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws closed out their UAAP Season 76 elimination round campaign with a 87-69 rout of the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tamaraws, who swept the first round of the tournament, wrapped up the elimination round with a 10-4 record and are assured of at least a playoff for the twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 76 men's basketball tournament. (see the latest full rankings here)

2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition REPLAY VIDEO
8 Universities competed for this year UAAP Cheerdance Competition namely: Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, National University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, University of the Philippines, University of Sto. Tomas, and University of the East.
But University of the Philippines managed to won this year Cheerdance Competition. Followed by DLSU( 1st Runner-Up), FEU(2nd Runner-Up).

Grado
Pagkatapos ng isang buwang paghihintay, Finally! All grades are released and posted. At isang malaking ngiti sa aking mukha ang sumibol ng aking makita ang aking mga grado. Yiee! na-achieve ko na rin ang pinapangarap ko noon pang walang dos (2) na grado.
At mataas rin ang itinaas ng aking General Weighted Average (GWA) kumpara sa mga nakaraang semester.
Kung noong last semester ay 1.61 ang GWA at may dalawa pa akong dos (2), ngayon ay ang aking GWA ay 1.44 at wala pang dos. Kaya wala nang mas sasaya pa sa akin nung makita ko ang aking mga grado.
Ngunit hindi ko nabale ang "trend" sa mga major subjects ko. Kasi sabe nila kapag Major subjects ay mahirap makakuha ng 1.25 at uno (1), pinakamataas na daw yung 1.5 which I think ay may katotohanan naman kasi never pa akong nagka-uno o 1.25 sa mga major subjects ko. Swerte ko na kapag naka-1.5 ako tapos pag minalas malas pa 1.75. Pero choks lang! may next semester pa, Right Allan? :)
Pero kahit gaano kataas ang aking grado ay walang-wala pa rin ito kay John Gabriel Pelias ng University of the Philippines. Siya lang naman ang nanguna sa 21 summa cum laude, 215 magna cum laude at 794 cum laude na nagsipagtapos ngayong taon sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Ang kanyang general weighted average (GWA) ay 1.016. Grabeh!! Ikaw na John Gabriel Pelias!!
At napanuod ko sa news na tatlong (3) beses lang daw siya nagka-1.25, tapos lahat daw ng grades niya ay puro uno(1) na. Kaya naman sayo John Gabriel Pelias, I Salute you!!
